The Site

The project required selecting an existing building and renovating it to suite the new programme. Although three locations were proposed and the first choice was agree to be the best for the new facility. Located in downtown Toronto, 121 Dundas St E, is currently known as Filmores Hotel.

Environs Photo Essay

The "Environs" is the area surrounding the project building. The photo essay is not just to show the viewer what is in the immediate area, but also convey the feeling of the area.

The Building

Location: Filmores Hotel Located at 121 Dundas St E, FIlmores Hotel is the location that I chose for my thesis site. As part of preparation for the project, I created a full set of plans for the site.
