 The bachelor apartment was based on the floor plan for the single room (10 X 8.5 feet). The windows were located at the south end of the room, the door at the north. The space was to include everything for a single person, beside the washroom that was located outside in the hall. The client was a artist/designer that required as much wall space as possible (for painting), a design work area, and all other living necessities (including a full kitchen).
The space functions quite well from the professional stand point, while still being able to entertain a few people and provide dining area for two.
The model is constructed of matt board and is in a scale of ½" = 1'. |
