This park measures 240 feet square, rising 20 feet at the north end. It is located in a residential neighbourhood in a large city. The main focus of the park is a large amphitheatre at its centre. The stage is surrounded by a small pool of water and stairs descending from the upper park provide the backdrop.
Just to the west of the stage is a large pond, split by a 13-foot drop. The waterfall between the two levels of the pond is regulated so there is very little water running down the wall. There are four entrances to the park and a small network of paths that connect them, allowing for continuous flow around and through the park.
The model which is measures 15 inches square, is constructed out of matt board, aluminum foil and copper wiring. |
