Open people to the world that they walk on everyday. Show them what is before there feet and crushed with the outline of their soul after.

It came to me from the way we walk. The same way everyday. We don’t see any more, we just look. We don’t see the sky, we don’t see our feet. We do, but not think. We move, but do not progress. We are, but do not live.

We have created an autopilot world where we just do our thing, leaving the government to look over us and the media to entertain us. We lack the social interaction instead we are a world of faceless@people.com

The piece is the contribution of a thousand people. I asked complete strangers to photograph the world and people around them. The writing on the back of each photo, is what they saw and their reaction. I have connected them all here in a grand stage. A composition made of found visions and thoughts. It was quite the task to hang them, but when you see it you will be faced with the grand vision of things your never noticed.

Although it may be similar to some work that I have seen before, I don’t feel that I have seen someone do this before. You could say it is like a quilt that is a collection of stories, only these are just the everyday stories. The ones that make up the life stories.

I think that is something that someone wrote on their photo. Amazing the one vision can describe a thousand others. Thousand voices of the world in their eyes brought together in one.

When asked why now, I can only say that it is as if the oceans screamed for the fish to return to them. The stars don’t twinkle anymore, but swear at us. And it is as if God herself is afraid of her clone. That is why!
